Babcock Noell Awards U2A™ Equipment Contract to Hamon
Hamon Research-Cottrell (HRC) of Somerville, NJ has been awarded a contract by Würzburg-based Babcock Noell GmbH (BNG) for the supply of equipment related to several U2A™ systems. The equipment will be installed as part of a series of DeNOx projects sold by BNG for two Israel Electric Corporation coal-fired power plants in Israel.
U2A™ refers to a patented process licensed by HRC for conversion of a urea feedstock into ammonia for use in SCR DeNOx systems.
