Outotec (USA) Awards Waste Heat Boiler Project to Hamon Deltak

In October, 2011, Hamon Deltak received an order for a modular waste heat boiler to be installed on a green energy, renewable fuel (biomass) project. The boiler will supply 367 thousand pounds per hour of steam at 1,550 psig for power generation. The unit will ship in September, 2012 to the Plainfield Renewable Energy facility in Plainfield, CT.

Work Ongoing on Complete Structural Replacement for Flint Hills Resources Port Arthur Refinery

February, 2012: Research Cottrell Cooling recently announced work is under way for removal and replacement of all internal structural and thermal components plus piping repairs for an existing cooling tower in FHR’s Port Arthur TX refinery.

January, 2012: In follow-on activity to the cooling tower awarded at the same facility last year, Research Cottrell Cooling has completed a full thermal upgrade of an existing cooling tower for FHR in Corpus Christi, TX. The work included replacement of all thermal media together with internal piping and miscellaneous structural repairs. It was occasioned by FHR’s mid-plant expansion begun in 2010.

Research Cottrell Cooling Awarded New Cooling Tower for Mead Westvaco Covintgon, VA Plant

January, 2012: Research Cottrell Cooling was recently awarded a new cooling tower for Mead Westvaco at their Covington VA paper mill. The 2-cell cooling tower will begin installation in July, 2012 and is expected to be completed by the end of the summer. It is being installed as part of a new power boiler in an overall plant expansion.
